About Us

The Mid-Atlantic Region Society of Quality Assurance (MARSQA) was founded in 1991 with the mission to provide current regulatory information, education and networking opportunities for the Quality Assurance Professional. Our current membership has grown to approximately 230 active participants, and covers the region of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Besides the camaraderie and opportunities for intellectual improvement, the benefits of membership in MARSQA are numerous.

Our Mission

The Mission of MARSQA (Mid Atlantic Region Society of Quality Assurance) is to provide current regulatory information, education and networking opportunities for the Quality Assurance Professional.

MARSQA will continually strive to advance the research quality assurance professions by providing the resources, programs and training necessary for the professional development and recognition of its membership through various meetings, workshops, our Newsletter and our Chapter Website.

MARSQA will serve as a forum for the open discussion of theoretical, practical and ethical applications of the quality assurance profession and we look to advance quality concepts and methods to members and provide a forum to interact with other professionals having the same common interest.

MARSQA will foster a partnership between quality assurance profession and the regulatory agencies that results in the attainment of mutually beneficial compliance and will support and advance the goals and mission of the Society of Quality Assurance.

Our Vision

MARSQA envisions an atmosphere of collegiality that advances the Quality Assurance profession by fostering dialogue, providing avenues of ownership and satisfying educational needs for all Chapter members.

Our Goals

  • Increase and sustain our membership each year.
  • Attract a greater number of members with backgrounds in GLP, GCP, GMP for R&D, and/or Field Trials.
  • Incorporate topics of interest to all members into our meeting programs.
  • Regularly incorporate government regulators' participation into our meeting programs.
  • Seek to attract non-QA professionals who have an interest in advancing Quality Assurance concepts to our meetings.
