Join MARSQA

You can join MARSQA using the hard copy member application. Please mail or fax this information to MARSQA Headquarters using the contact information on the member application.

Please note that you do not need to be an SQA member to become a MARSQA chapter member. Membership is for the calendar year 1 January through 31 December. Dues are not pro-rated.

What do you get for your $25 annual membership?

• Opportunity to interact with a dynamic group of dedicated professionals who reside in the Mid Atlantic Regional chapter area. We are quality assurance professionals from many different backgrounds, such as government, academia, and industry.
• Gain exposure and expand your knowledge in areas of regulated research new/less familiar to you.
• Membership Meetings: Two to four meetings are held each year in either a half-day or full day format. Meetings include training presentations, opportunity for open forum discussions in GLP,CSV/other, a hot buffet luncheon, and networking opportunities. Meeting fees are based on the cost per person levied by the meeting venue provider and typically start at $60.00 for members and $70.00 non-members. Venues are chosen for reasonable cost and locations that are convenient to most MARSQA members.
• Multi-day training seminars (CSV) are offered a few times a year on current topics by leading industry experts. Rates for those meetings are based on per person venue cost plus speaker fees, and materials fees. Typical CSV meeting fee is around $250/member and $350/non-member.
• SQA Connect: Access to the MARSQA members listserv-forum and document library.
• Continuing Education units:
  • Each year of MARSQA membership provides you with 1 unit for RQAP re-registration.
  • As an attendee, you also earn 1 unit with each hour (of meeting/training presentations, meals not included) at a MARSQA meeting.
• The MARSQA Monitor: The MARSQA Newsletter Committee provides a newsletter two to four times a year to keep you up to date on industry related changes, MARSQA business, and meeting information.
• Board of Directors Position: Opportunity to be nominated and elected to the various roles of the MARSQA Board of Directors.
• Committee Volunteer: Opportunity to join MARSQA committees.
• MARSQA Membership Annual Awards:
  • SQA Annual Meeting: A monetary award/scholarship to reimburse some or all of the cost of the SQA Annual Meeting Fee, the hotel room, and transportation to/from the meeting. One to two awards will be given each year depending upon the availability of funds.
  • RQAP Certification: A a scholarship is provided to an approved applicant to reimburse the cost of the RQAP exam.
